Reservations Policy

At this time we are only renting to churches of Christ and affiliates.
Rent for lodge is: $125.00/day Monday through Thursday. Weekend rates are $250.00/day.
Fees for overnight in the main lodge: $12.00/person/night for persons 5 years old and up. Children from age 2 to 5 are $6.00/person/night. Under age 2 stay free. Kitchen fee is $50/meal. Example: 50 people spend two nights and prepare 4 meals: The total fee is $800.00: $600 for bed fee; $200 for the kitchen. The 25% deposit would be $200.00.
Check in time: 2:00 p.m. or later, unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Please provide proof of event or equivalent insurance when making your reservation.
You must have adequate adult supervision for minors. There must be at least two
adults with each group of children. The ratios for children to adults are: Ages
5-
A designated first aider must accompany all groups with children under 18, unless there is a parent of each child also in attendance. All adult groups larger than 25 people are also urged to designate a first aider. The first aider may be a nurse (either RN or LPN) or physician, or adult with a valid first aid/cpr card from the Red Cross or American Heart Association.
No firearms, fireworks, alcoholic beverages, or illegal drugs are permitted at Tallgrass.
There are 96 beds (all twin bunk beds) available in the dorms and cabins. They are designated one half for girls and one half for boys. They match with the available shower facilities. The downstairs girls’ bathroom has 6 shower stalls and the boys’ has 5 shower stalls. The outside cabins have no bathroom facilities; the sidewalks lead to the correct side of the dorms. There is a nurse’s station located off of the rec room. Outside groups should provide their own first aid supplies.
The dining room has eight 6’ plastic folding tables (seat 6 comfortably) and four 8’ plastic folding tables. There are ample chairs for the tables and for the great room seating. The great room features a large wood burning fireplace.
The kitchen is functional with a range, convection oven, hot and cold serving tables, and trays, glasses and silverware for 100+ people. There are some mugs also available. There is not currently a dishwasher. There is ample freezer and refrigerator for a one week camp session. There is a washer and dryer available for the dishtowels. There is one gas grill and one charcoal grill for outdoor barbecues. Please provide your own charcoal, or add a $5.00 fee for the propane used per cookout.
Other features of the camp include: 2 tetherball poles, blacktop basketball court, fire rings, amphitheater, pond with 4 pedal boats (each holding 5 people), and hiking trails. The patio has 4 picnic tables. Foosball, ping pong tables and a pool table are located in the rec room, lower level of the lodge.
