While each session has its own set of personnel, every director and all teachers primary focus is the spiritual development of each camper. Backgrounds in teaching are varied, though all are active members of The Church of Christ, and are qualified to do an exceptional job of teaching both in classes and leading sessions.
Additionally, all camp personnel must undergo a background check as well as undergo training in a special class on safety and abuse prevention before working at camp.
While there is not a permanent nurse on staff it is a requirement that each Tallgrass led camp sessions has a nurse available to assist in any needs.
For outside camps, gatherings, or other activities, a nurse will not be provided, and is recommended that each group have the proper safety support in place.
